A Look at Jacqueline's Photojournalism Portfolio

The Role of Professional Photojournalists

I was required to complete several photojournalism courses in order to graduate from journalism school. My instructors informed me that I displayed talent in this extremely challenging field and I received excellent marks. Today I still have a passion for photography and I delight in the opportunity to create unique images that reflect the essence of my stories.

One can deeply admire the role of the world’s preeminent photojournalists. Photojournalists capture defining moments of human history and create images that express our collective human experience. They present us with both the intimate drama of daily life and the spectacle of world events. For some, their occupation puts them in the line of danger. Every day thousands of photojournalists place themselves at risk by working in war zones and third-world countries.
